Discover the Mind-Body Resilience in All of Us

Clayton Skaggs

People have never been so stressed about being stressed.

Modernization and life’s growing complexities have increased day-to-day pressures while displacing the basic principles that bring joy and happiness: self-awareness, humility, caring for others, and purposeful living. By building tenacity and resilience, we can begin to restore balance during high-intensity moments, alleviating stress and personal struggles while improving mental and physical health.

The Power of Doing What Matters is a journey of self-exploration in one unique package. Through the magic of stories, related science, and intentional training exercises—including over twenty easy-to-follow instructional diagrams—clinician, educator, and coach Clayton Skaggs provides all the necessary tools for increasing personal strength through self-discovery. He applies his unique knowledge and experience working with elite performers, athletes, and ordinary individuals, and offers guidance for dealing with high-stress situations and recovering from injury and pain. One simple step at a time, Skaggs outlines a holistic approach to balancing stress and improving mind-body resilience for the long term—opening the door to the life you’ve been missing out on.
